I was born in 1988 in the Philippines.  I'm currently working on my BA in English and in Spanish. 

My five senses are intact, but oftentimes they’re not enough to help explain a phenomenon, describe a scene, capture an emotion, or isolate a problem. I’m waiting for that sixth sense to appear like the light that comes from a light bulb in a thought bubble. Sometimes I think I’ve discovered it, but then I realize it’s just me, thinking. Maybe thought is indeed the sixth sense.

I think too much, causing me to daydream and stare off into space a lot. Some say I’m weird, and I agree. If I weren’t weird, I wouldn’t be an individual.

I’m waiting for my shadow to catch up to me and give me a reality check. In the meantime, I will look to the sky, face the sunshine, and move forward. But I can’t keep looking up because it would strain my neck and cause problems. Looking down, back, to the side, and straight ahead are also necessary.

I write and I love it. But I don’t say writing is my life because that would be too daring. It’s almost impossible to define someone using only one aspect of the identity. Maybe some people can be defined that way, but I have more faith in someone’s individuality than that.
